THE PRINCIPAL
BODY OF THE FEDERATIONis its Council made up of over Three Hundred and Twenty (320) Corporate, Council and individual members. An executive committee is elected annually that sets policy and supervises the work of the JEF Secretariat. The Executive comprises a President, a first Vice President a second Vice President and includes seventeen (17) members.
Six sub-committees are appointed by the Executive to make recommendations in their field of operation and to assist the Secretariat. These sub-committees are: Education & Training; Labour Market & Research; International Relations; Safety, Health & Social Security and Business Development.
The Secretariat’s professional staff comprises over 16 full time employees and is headed by the Executive
Director.
The work of the Secretariat is augmented by consultants in the fields of Human Resource Development, Education, Industrial Relations, Policy Development, Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) Development, Productivity, International Relations, Labour Market Analysis and Occupational Health & Safety.
